Aidan was a little ray of sunshine to all his friends and family and could make so many people smile without even trying to. Aidan was only three and a half when he died of meningitis in 2001 but in such a short time he touched so many lives and made them happy. Meningitis kills more children in the UK under the age of 5, than any other infectious disease and with recent statistics reporting that 34 million UK adults wrongly think a rash is the main symptom of meningitis, its even more of a priority to get the awareness raised to avoid the heartbreak that our family has been through.
